In all of its work The Washington Institute sets forth the vision that faith shapes vocation, and that shapes culture. It does this through a series of Institute Initiatives, designed to teach, serve and equip the Church in a deeper understanding of common grace for the common good; through Partnerships with like-minded organizations and institutions; through regular teaching & speaking around the country and the world; and through consulting with companies, organizations and institutions.
“Put in general terms, the purpose of God’s call is for the people of God to worship God, and to participate in God’s creative and redemptive purposes for the world, to enjoy, hope for, pray for, and work toward God’s shalom. This is what it means for Christians to be in Christ and to follow Christ.”
