In Fall 2011, Rev. Tom Nelson, Senior Pastor of Christ Community Church in Leawood Kansas published a unique book titled Work Matters: Connecting Sunday worship to Monday work. It is the first book of its kind, written by a pastor about how to lead a congregation in a deeper understanding of whole-life discipleship. The Institute will continue its partnership with Rev. Nelson into 2012, hosting small gatherings of pastors, ministry leaders and lay leaders for discussion and teaching at seminaries around the country. There are currently 4 events scheduled in 2012, and more are expected.
